04. Joan

Joan Lois Callcott was the second child of Mary Constance Callcott (nee Joy).  She was born in Hornsby on October 16 1932. Although she was born with congenital deafness in her left ear it never held her back. Joan loved sewing, craft and knitting – one of her specialties was the handknitted Pippy Shell Layette outfit.

Joan married Cyril Ross Adams known as Ross from Boggabilla  and they had three children – Kerrie who married into the Christian/Hibbs  – Green Families, Julie who married into the Lock Lee – Tong families and Daryl who married into another Green Family and the Gilroy’s..
